A Little Bit More

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so?  It came without ribbons.  It came without tags.  It came without packages, boxes or bags.  And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore.  Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before.  What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.  What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas or a wonderful holiday season.

My 2010 List of Fave Books

This is a list of books I enjoyed reading in 2010 - not all of them came out in 2010 though.

I read a lot of Dystopian this year. I read more than this list, but these were the ones I liked:

The Adoration Of Jenna Fox - Mary Pearson
Life As We Knew It  - The Moon Series - Susan Beth Pfeffer
Birthmarked - Caragh M. O'Brian
Candor - Pam Bachorz

These books are a mixture of Contemporary, Fantasy and Paranormal, but they all have a magical feel to them:
Paranormalcy - Kiersten White
Cinders - Michelle Argyle
Spells - Aprillyne Pike
Forest of Hands and Teeth and The Dead-Tossed Waves - Carrie Ryan
Warbreaker - Brandon Sanderson
The Way He Lived - Emily Wing Smith
I Am Not A Serial Killer - Dan Wells
The Girl Who Chased The Moon - Sarah Addison Allen
