Teaser Tuesday and a Tribute To Our Veterans Wednesday

It's still Tuesday, but I'm running out of time.  One of my favorite book review blogs - Bookworm Nation - participates in a weekly meme called Teaser Tuesday. It's a fun way to entice others to a new book.  Tonight I want to participate and I hope you will too.

Here are the rules:
1. Grab your current read.
2. Open to a random page.
3. Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
4. Be careful NOT to include spoilers (you don’t want to ruin the book for others.)
5. Share the title and author so that it can be added to others TBR lists if they like your teaser.

Here's My Quotes:

"Boredom is a terrible affliction of the soulless."

&

"When they come for mischief, they come as humans."

Ooh - intriguing.  I'll let you know my thoughts on this book later.

If you wouldn't mind - I'd love to have a teaser of one of your current reads left in my comments or just let me know you participated on your blog.

A Lovely Tribute To Our Vets

Want to laugh till you cry? Go here  and watch the video - it's freaking hilarious.

Also - I posted a book review of Once Was Lost by Sara Zarr on my Literary Girls blog - please check it out.

This sounds like fun, only I'm not reading anything right now. Too busy. Ugh.

I haven't picked up a book in a few days. When I do I want to do this!

I love your teasers :)

Just stopping by to say hello. My dream was and I guess still is to be a speaker some day. I used to want to be a published writer, but now, I'm happy just to write on my blog. My other dream is to write something memorable that will last long after I'm gone.

I haven't read anything this week except for my college text books, and I wouldn't want to bore anyone. =)

Karen - I know right. Want to keep reading it just from that line.

Tina Lynn, Diana and Carolyn - shame on you. You must pick up a fun book quickly. I'm afraid you might melt or something.

Nancy - thank you for stopping by and sharing your dreams. I too also want to write something memorable.

This teaser is from Lisa Patton's Whistlin' Dixie in a Nor'Easter. I just bought it, but so far it's looking GOOD.

I'm between books right now, so I don't have a teaser, but I love the ones you shared.
